How it works:
The original elbow gradually tapers down from a 63mm induction tube to just 48.5mm at the turbo inlet, despite the 51mm diameter turbo inlet. This causes unnecessary restriction on the intake side that impedes flow and limits throttle response.
The AIRTEC direct exchange elbow features a CNC machined flange with a properly matched diameter 51 mm, thus removing the limitation.
The high quality silicone hose tapers to form a suction diameter of 63mm, allowing the maximum amount of internal flow with an increase of almost 10%.
Larger volume reduces restriction and improves flow to the turbo, providing increased performance and response.
